garfield: the ultimate cat characterAs I've told you somewhere earlier, soon after the cartoonist Jim Davis invented the All the three characters are typical; Garfield is self centered, and arrogant. Jon is kind, but lacks of commonsense in metropolitan life. (He was born and bred in a farm, where his family still live) Odie loves both Jon and Garfield, and faithful to his friend whatever he gets in return.
There are a great lot of support characters. The mostly apparent ones should be the mice. A lotta them live in Jon's house. Garfield just ignores them, or makes secret pacts with them. Then there are spiders. Garfield hates them, and swats them whenever he sees them. Garfields keeps a pet, Pooky, a Teddy bear. Adopted by Garfield, Pooky is the only single character in whole cartoon that Garfield admits that he loves. Same for the mailman. He does not get any respect from And occasionally, we see Jon's family when Jon and garfield visit the farm. There is Jon's mother, father and Doc boy, Jon's brother. He's not much of a brilliant guy, but he makes the most fun in farm episodes. Garfield does not much like to visit his farm, because he misses the cartoons in TV, and because "those cartoons do not watch themselves" Garfield File
